She takes the seven-to-nine-hour flight for a number of reasons, but among them is more variety on a day off the slopes. Over her kids’ spring break in March, Doft and her family flew into Milan and traveled to Verbier, skied for three days, and then went to Turin and Florence, followed by skiing in the Dolomites at Alta Badia and Cortina and ended their trip in Venice.”
